T.L.S. Farmer Network is a program designed to offer operating
efficiencies to independent swine producers working together.
Purpose: Our patrons and your cooperative are in the
"food" business. To remain an active part of this
industry, the independent producer must produce a product that has
high value in the marketplace. That means producing nutritious,
high lean, and safe meat products. Such products will warrant
premiums over animals that do not meet these critical market

Efficiencies in the operations of FS patrons cannot be
overlooked. The independent pork producer cannot sacrifice all
production efficiencies to produce this high lean animal. Sows
must maintain a high level of productivity and the market animals
must be efficient in their feed conversion with an acceptable
growth rate. A delicate balance must be maintained in this
production process.
T.L.S. Farmer Network is a comprehensive swine production
